A Sad Goodbye
Dear Cherished Friends:
For more than thirty years your pet’s well-being has been uppermost in my mind. It’s been a joy and an honor to have had the privilege of being your veterinarian.
Unfortunately, my own well-being now must take precedence. My own doctors have told me that as I’ve grown older, my ability to practice at the high standards I demand of myself is no longer at its peak.
Since your pets deserve no less than the absolute best care available, I have come to the heartbreaking but proper decision to end my veterinary career. The clinic has been closed for business since January 1st.
Dr. Bruce Freeman at Overland Park Veterinary Center is ready to continue the excellent care your pets received from us. He has been a trusted colleague for years and we have transferred all patient records to him. The clinic is located very close to us, on the other end of downtown at 8120 Santa Fe. His phone number is (913) 642-9371.
I can share some very good news with you! Jenny Limer, our wonderful groomer, has joined Dr. Freeman's clinic, so your pet's stunning good looks can still be trusted to her supremely capable hands very near her old location!
I cannot emphasize how grateful I am that you have put your trust in us for these many years. It’s because of that trust that I have made this decision. 2020 began as an extraordinarily hard year for all of us. It ended the same way. I wish for all of you a far kinder 2021 and beyond. Though I will no longer have the privilege of your business, I sincerely hope to have the continued blessings of your friendship.
With love and gratitude,
Jill A. Sandler, D.V.M.
