Tammie is our trainer and behavior consultant with over 16 years of experience in training dogs. Her training is based on her teaching you how to relate to a dog in the way the dog understands. You will learn how to stop unwanted behaviors quickly and easily with her methods and techniques.
Tammie is available for a consultation or evaluations by appointment. With the more serious issues or if the problem involves eliminating inappropriately we do ask that you see the veterinarian prior to your consult so that you may rule out any underlying medical issues that could be causing the unwanted behavior.
We now offer group obedience classes at the clinic in the evenings and weekends. The classes are grouped by age, size and skill level. They are fun and extremely informative with focus on "house manners" as well as the basics in obedience. Early socialization of puppies have been scientifically proven to improve fearful responses in dogs later in life. There for we do offer off leash play time for the Puppy 101 class and is only offered to the Dog 101 class at the discretion of the trainer. Classes are 6 weeks in length and I will try to accommodate make up times or sessions if you miss a class. I send homework home each week so that everyone in the household is working on the same things correctly.
